Advance Conveyors (NZ) Ltd is one of the longest established, companies specialising in Conveyor systems and equipment, in NZ.
WHAT WE DO
We specialise in conveyors and conveyor systems for warehouse and distribution centres, and any industry where they are looking for a more efficient way to handle cartons, totes or pallets – in particular during the functions of order picking, collating, packing and despatch of goods.
We have been fortunate to deal with a wide range of fantastic people / clients, who have remained loyal over decades.
We have undertaken multiple projects for some of Australia and New Zealand’s largest companies. It is equally satisfying, to be able to assist a small company reduce handling costs, make better use of space, and as a consequence, see them grow. We have exported conveyors to countries, as far away, as Chile and Japan.
DESIGN, MANUFACTURE
We have our own design for conveyors, and to our knowledge, were the first company in the world, to manufacture gravity conveyor side channels, with a down folded safety edge, and base edge, reverse folded – so no sharp edges or rub points, and more clearance between the support leg and workers feet.
A large amount of our range is manufactured from Galvanised sheet material – resists scratching, marking, corrosion, quick wipe and it remains looking new.
Generally everything is laser cut and CNC folded. Almost everything is bolt together construction. We pre-assemble, so when we get to site, all we have to do if fit the conveyor sections to the leg sets, and then add the next section etc, etc. This reduces site time.
Obviously some equipment is more technical in nature, and we are fortunate to have close associations with equipment suppliers in Australia, Japan and Germany, who supply specialist equipment or components e.g. 24V DC rollers, diverter units, speed controllers, rollers etc.
We utilise NZ industrial electricians for power supply, control cabinets, PLC programming, wiring and commissioning.
